Carmel Resort Inn featuring quaint cottages and cabins

Just a short note to express how much the CRI has been upgraded in the last few months, under the new ownership. I have been a regular guest for 7+ years, visiting 6 - 8 times a year. In the last few months (since the ownership change), the upgrades have been nothing short of outstanding. New carpets, furniture, soaps & shampoos, fresh paint, etc. The breakfast basket brought to your door every morning is especially welcome. The rooms are (as they always have been) clean and tidy, thanks to Emma and her fine staff. The front desk personel,(Angi and Annette), are friendly, helpful and "customer focused" and a pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend this motel to anyone looking for a quiet getaway, as most units are stand alone cottages in a very quiet part of Carmel. Try it, you WILL like it!!!

I recently returned from my first stay at the Carmel Resort Inn. I was there from 10/30-11/2. I was with a large equestrian group. Your resort was perfect for us. Your separate cabins were ideal. Patrick and Rose were so accomodating to us. We really enjoyed their hospitality and them. They were friendly (not always something we find at hotels) and really wanted to please us. Thanks so much for a great place. And please, thank Patrick & Rose for us. We plan on returning to your resort when we attend the horse shows in Pebble Beach.

This place is a true pearl on the West Coast. In August my girlfriend and I came from Germany to make a West Coast trip. On a late Saturday night this was the only place which still had a place to stay. Even though it was a little out of our student budget, it was worth every dime. Pat and Rose have been the most helpful and the friendlist people we ever stayed with. It is great to see how much love people can put in their work and you could really see in the rooms, the entire property. The breakfast was awesome and I regret, that we didn´t stayed longer. It was a complete Joy!!! Can´t wait to come back here soon.

Patrick and Rose were wonderful, hospitable and accommodating. Room 26 was most adequate.

The hotel room was very nice and beautifully arranged.

The price we paid for the room was very reasonable and the room was quaint.

Thank you for another perfect Monterey getaway! I do believe I prefer cottage 31, and will request it in the future. I am very happy with the room changes and little things, like real light fixtures in the hot tub room. Upgrading the beds, furniture, fixture and carpet made the room very inviting. The room was as clean as it always is, complements to the housekeeping staff, that has always been a constant. I hope to be down again soon, possibly late August but more likely, mid September.
